Sharp eye to catch those victory markings. I did this drawing with a photo shop job and I started to change the marking to match a photo I had seen but didn't finish.
As far as I know, John never wrote a book. However, he did contribute quite a bit of information for the article in Air Classics magazine that featured him. I will have to check to see how many missions he flew during WWII.
