Just a further note on this posting. I consider it highly likely that photos exist of the force-landed He111 L1+UC, with visible a/c codes, exist somewhere, and may have appeared on German eBay at some point. I'm hoping that someone may have seen one or more of these, and could make these available for the EOE Project.
