German Seaplane - sunk in Channel 11 April 1941
On 11 April 1941 the CO of 92 Squadron, together with Flt Lt Kingcome and Sgts Lloyd and Gaskell, attacked and sank a "seaplane" that was being towed back to France across the Channel. Gaskell was then shot down and killed (in Spitfire X4062) when they were bounced by 15 Me 109's.
Can any one put a name to the seaplane type and add anything as regards to its unit, history etc?
