I don't think I have any particular insight into your question of crash location other than the simple fact that when I looked at the caption written on the reverse of the photograph it looked something like '_ai_ville'. The flourish at the end of the name seems to be a peculiarity of the author's handwriting. Dainville is located just outside of Arras, on a vector towards Amiens, so perhaps that could be it. That obviously fails to explain why the author considered himself to be in Belgium at the time!
