No, no mention of the hotel, but it seems to make sense. It's possible a detail like that would be in the Unterlagen at the Red Cross International Tracing Service center in Arolsen. Their 50,000,000 pages of material were first opened to researchers in 2006, I believe, and they would have many folders on Stalag III D. Give them a try:
