You are absolutely right. It wasn't the Feldgendarmerie ;-) I haven't checked where Oran is on the map yet and wrongly assumed it would be in France since it sounded like a French village and since the Ju 88 D-1 started from a French airfield. My mistake.

GX+WY apparently was a Fw 190, so it must have been GY+WY but the second source wrongly reported it as a Ju 88 D-1.
