Transfer of two 5./196 Ar196s in September 1942
The September 1942 entry in the Flugzeugbestand und Bewegungsmeldungen for Bordfliegerstaffel 5./196 mentions two Ar 196 A-3 being transferred to another unit.
Does anybody have a clue as to the identity of the two aircraft (WNr?) or the destination (I am rather hoping for a ship)? Thanks for any tips and pointers.
