i have some interrogation !
In olds books writen about the colors of the P-47 from 324 th FG,
we can see lightnings bolts red/yellow/blue for 3 differents squadons
Since this error was copy/paste by different authors ..
and first time by me too on my website ...
My friend Doug Paterson from 324th FG association say me :
for the 324th, all of the lightning bolts were red, the diamond on the cowling and the triangle on the tail were in the squadron colors. And the color for the 316th was white, not blue.
So recently, in the additions pages for one good french revue Aero Journal about Dragoon, i can see one profil with yellow lightning bolt ...
What do you think about ?
