Dear all,
A photo that was uploaded at
www.battlegroundrelics.com by one of its members turned out to be most likely a rare shot of Ju 88 U4+TK W.Nr. 0119 before it sunk to the bottom of a lake at Jonsvatnet in Norway. A BIG thanks to Ed North who identified it.
U4+TK was recovered from the lake in 2004 by the Norwegian Armed Forces Museum and is currently being restored. The photo - taken by a German soldier - shows the Ju 88 before it sank to the bottom of the lake.

Member Karl has uploaded a very interesting photo of the airfield at Smolensk taken in August 1941. I always thought such photos to be very helpful to identify the location of aircraft photographed at the ground since they give a good overview about the layout of the airfield and the buildings.
