Re: JGr 200 Pilots

Like Nick, I have some a/c w/o names, but they all seem to have been captured during the race across France in 1944. The only listed POW I have is:

Bf 109G-6, 412421, Cöster, Uffz. Walter, 1./JGr.200, gelbe12 +, 14-Jul-44, POW after Luftkampf with U.S. bombers., Frappé, La LW face au débarquement allié, p.284, 323, Chateauneuf-de-Galaure 30km nördlich Romans.

The name is not even close and note that it says after fight with US Bombers. Frappé does not list his source, but he is normally very reliable. Other losses with names are listed as MIA or KIA. Are you certain about the name and POW status?
