Seeking photos to confirm plane number for 5./Tr.Gr186 loss on May 10, 1940 in the Netherlands
Hello,
Via one of our EOE WG members in the Netherlands, we've located an excellent photo of the crash of UfFz Wilhelm RUdolf whose Bf109E-3 crashed and overturned, badly injuring his spine (and ultimately killing him). His plane came down near the Zwinweg Road at the village of Anna Paulowna in the Netherlands. Our EOE Data Base photo shows numerous well-dressed local civilians (photographed after church?) standing around and on the overturned plane. Perhaps other photos exist showing the markings on this 109 that are not visible in this photo?
Can anyone help?
