Given that the Warwick was principally used for AirSea Rescue, I'm not sure why this seems to have been inland. It therefore makes me wonder if this was a BOAC transport version, but you'd need some better ID to get much further. The RAF had 15 Sqns of Warwicks so perhaps a trawl through the Sqn histories might add more light. No. 38; No. 167; No. 179; No. 251; No. 269; No. 275; No. 276; No. 277; No. 278; No. 279; No. 280; No. 281; No. 282; No. 283; No. 284; No. 292; No. 293; No. 294; No. 353; No. 520; No. 525 and No. 621. Not in Chorleys and haven't found any serial numbers and fates on Google.
