Technical info for the restoration of a Reichenberg

I'm in the process of restoring an Fi 103R Reichenberg for the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa, Canada. The wings for this particular aircraft apparently never came back with it from Germany after the war and consequently, I have to build a new set of wings for it.

I have been able to reverse engineer a lot of what is required from many different photographs, but one of the pieces of information that has eluded me is what the actual thickness is of the plywood used for the skin.

My current best guess is 3mm, however it is only a guess based on photo's that don't allow for that sort of resolution. Given that they are the same wood wing used for someof the V1's, i was wondering if anyone might be able to shed some light on this for me.

As an aside, any other information that anyone might have and want to share on the Reichenberg would be apprecated.

Thanks in advance,

Earl Chapman
