Just my two-pennies. Nick Beale answer is good explanation. However the Hersteller (manufacturer) in this case is: īausī = Adam Opel/Russelheim (making thousands of these items for Jumo 211 F/J series.
Engine cooler PART plate from Ju 88 A-4 / C-6 / D-1 series (Jumo 211 F/J engine series). I have seen W.Nrīs below and abowe 3909 (3309 & 5909 respectevely). I whould guess on Ju 88 series a/c made in Bernburg in about very late 1941 to early half of 1942.
No chance to make Aircraft W.Nr. i.d. without exact crash location (could be any time from 1942 to 1944 if in UK).
