Missing from a mission to the Rhur and crashed at 13:15 hrs on land owned by Mr Spronck at Maireux-Soumagne, Belgium. Sgt Rose baled out but his parachute was damaged by the aircraft and rests in Soumagne Communal Cemetery, Liege, Belgium.
