It was 151 Squadron.
What do the German records show?
There's more information on the B of B Forum here:-
http://disc.yourwebapps.com/discussi...rch_term=Ju+88
It appears that claims that day took place over British soil or out to sea. One near Calais? The writer of the Combat Report chased the particular JU-88 of interest inland, ran out of ammunition and returned. What happened to that JU-88? Was there one that crashed in France south of the coast? Was the the rear gunner of the JU-88 injured / killed (or simply ran out of ammunition?)
Thanks V much.
