JU88A-1, 5./KG76, W.N 4159, 2/11/40

Hi

I'm currently researching a JU88A-1 from 5./KG76, F1+DN, Werk No. 4159 which crashed at New Barn Farm in Southfleet, Kent on the 2nd November 1940. I am hoping to create a colour profile of this aircraft and would appreciate any ideas on on how the aircraft's camouflage and markings may have looked. I have already posted a topic on LEMB http://www.luftwaffe-experten.org/fo...=0&#entry48702 which contains some photos of a JU88 F1+CN kindly supplied by a member. If anyone knows what variant of JU88 it is and what period I would appreciate the info. Also if anyone has any other information regarding the crashed aircraft and what camouflage and markings it may have carried at the time? My Auntie's family owns the land/farm where the aircraft came down and would very much like to create an accurate profile to show them and possibly the BofB museum who I understand have some small relics from the crash site.

"5/KG76 Junkers Ju88A-1 (4159) Shot down by AA fire and crashed at New Barn Farm, Southfleet, Kent 7.30 p.m. Oberfw. O. Grunke, Oberfw. A. Vogl and Uffz. M. Biller killed. Uffz. E. Stumpp missing. Aircraft F1-DN destroyed. Items recovered by the Kent Battle of Britain Museum include an identity disc and parachute release buckle."

Thanks in advance
