Re: 9./ZG76 Bf110 pilot during BoB with 11 victories?

Pieter - thx for clearing up.

Quote:
The top scorers for the unit through Oct., 1940, were apparently: Fw Herbert Kutscha (11), Lt. Richard Marchfelder (10), Lt. Rolf Hermichen (9), Hptm. Rolf Kaldrack (8), Oblt Gerhard Kadow (6), Obfw Harras Matthes (6) and Fw Johannes Lutter (6).
Fw Herbert Kutscha - had 2 Dutch + 1 Swiss = not fit
Lt. Richard Marchfelder - not sure... He might have Dutch (as shared)... He possibly fit, but wasnt he a Stab III./ZG76 pilot?
Hptm. Rolf Kaldrack - not fit
Oblt Gerhard Kadow - not fit IMHO as he was s/d on another a/c
Obfw Harras Matthes - not fit as he had Swiss claim.
Fw Johannes Lutter - not fit as he had Swiss claim.

About 3 "blank" abschussebalken:

I have an idea:

It looks like pilot claimed 3 a/c in one combat, and ground crew had a time only for paint white markings before the next combat mission...

If that pilot came from Bf109 regiment:

We need to compile list for those JG pilots who had 1 Dutch claim. Then, we must choose from that list those pilots who had 3 victoryes before Dutch.

Even a list with 10-15 pilots will be much better "base" for further search.
