During the attack on Ypenburg Fokker D-21 and Douglas 8a aircraft took off. Some Fokkers managed to land on other fields, but the Douglas 8a aircraft that were able to take off were destroyed by the Luftwaffe. I have not been able to find out which unit(s) are responsible for destroying most of the Douglas 8a's. (see for some info in Dutch:
