I would expect that SMF144 would receive some kind of re-numeration for the information provided to make an otherwise low value item more valuable.
There appears to be a growing trend for certain members and/or collectors to use TOCH for strictly financial reasons. It really hurts when one spends years and often at great expense researching only to have this freely provided information turned into someone else’s quick and unearned profit. The classic has to be a while back when a photo was copied from a members web site only to be passed off for sale by another member as an original picture. It's so sad to see what some will do to make that almighty buck.
I often wonder why in life there always has to one (or more) in a crowd that ruin it for everyone else.
It sure makes one reluctant to contribute anything worthwhile to this otherwise excellent forum.
