Re: 1st Dec.1943, loss of a Ju 52 "Mausi" from 1./MSGr.1, off Brittany coasts
Hello Pierre,
This Ju 52 MS was shot down by F.O JP Blackwell of 266th Sqdn, flying on a Typhoon 1B, near the Ile de Groix. It was probably a plane of 3 Staffel, which was responsible for the Atlantic coast from Brest to Biarritz.
The base was probably Vannes.
