U.S. MAQUIS MEMBERS

Boy is this a long shot, but what the heck. I am trying to track down any
USAAF flyers who were in a French Maquis in 1944. My father, a Lancaster rear gunner, fought alongside two Americans - Dan and Ben - in Maquis 15 in the hills west of Toul near Pont-a-mousson in the Lorraine province, Northern France. These men walked out of Germany after their B-17 was shot down. They were in the Maquis July - September 1944 before being picked up by an advanced unit of the American 4th Armoured Division.
Also any ideas where to find USAAF websites that might list losses and casualties?
