As for you question, DB 605 AS + GM 1 ran on B4. If Specht's machine had it, almost sure the GM 1 system of his G-5 had been converted to MW 50 usage.
BTW, there was no U3 version for G-5 (and it wasn't a MW 50 version on the G-6 either
).
