Re: C type Camouflage drawings for Allied Aircraft.

Stefaan

Can you provide more information?

Do you have dates for these statements/dcouments?

Is it a British document that you have seen or is it a SAAF document?

I am not aware that any aircraft were manufactured in SA in WW2 is there any indication that the statement applies to repaired a/c or perhaps to American a/c being re-assembled in SA?

To my knowledge all the stand alone drawings issued by the RAF to do with C&M were "Air Diagrams" so they had an "AD" prefix. The drawing you refer to in the book "British Aviation Colours" seems to have started life in a DTD Technical Circular probably towards the end of 1941 I am not aware of it having a separate or stand alone existence with a "C" prefix.
