Seeking additional info on the following loss.

P-38 F5-2-LO 42-28293
30th Photo. Sqn./67th Rec. Grp./US 9th AF.
MACR 7170
Departed Le Molay, Normandy 16:50hrs on PR mission over southern Cherbourg Peninsula, 19th July 1944. Lost without trace ! Pilot is listed on the ABMC site and is listed on the Tablets of the Missing at St.James Cemetary, Brittany.
German crash report - 19 Jul 44 1739 Lightning 11km N. Granville into sea J1854
This appears to be the only P-38 loss which corresponds with this loss on this date.
Has anyone any additional info, photos etc on this loss or pilot ?
