Do 217 of 5./KG 40 on 21 or 22 sep 1941
Hi all,
From a Lagebericht 21-27 sep 1941 I found:
22 sep 1941, Do 217 E-4, Wnr 5011, II/KG 40 at Soesterberg Airfield, damage 60%
From a fellow researcher I got a note stating:
From a German report:
Flugzeugunfall am 21.9.41, 18.35 Uhr, Do 217 E-1, Wnr 5011, F8+LN, 5./KG 40, Ff Ofw. Wolff.
The german handwriting is bad, but he finds something like 60%, wich is probably the damage.
According to the Wnr. it's one and the same aircraft.
I'm looking for the correct date (and time), Do 217 version, and possible the rest of the crew.
Can anybody help me out.
