Sturzkampfgeschwader 2 December 1941

Hello Michal

Here is what I have with the following notes of caution. The subtypes and werknummern are accurate and there should be no problem with that information. However, the locations and names of the pilots should be treated with caution as it was hard to read the source. I attempted to get as accurate as possible but some locations in particular defeated me and I was unable to make them out. Hopefully, some one else can fill in the gaps and correct the errors which I know exist.

20 December 1941: 8./St.G. 2 Ju 87 R-2 (W.Nr. 6167) belly-landing at Uwarodowka due to bad weather, crew unharmed, 100%, non-combat flight
20 December 1941: 9./St.G. 2 Ju 87 B-1 (W.Nr. 0472) crashed due to freezing near Der(--)ino, Oberfeldwebel Paul Lachmann (F) killed, 100%, non-combat flight
20 December 1941: 8./St.G. 2 Ju 87 B-2 (W.Nr. 5818) crash-landing at L(----)j due to bad weather, Oberleutnant Walter Rotormund (F) killed, Gefreiter Anton Vollenhals (Bf) injured, 100%, non-combat flight
20 December 1941: 8./St.G. 2 Ju 87 R-4 (W.Nr. 6250) crash-landing at L(----)j due to bad weather, Leutnant Mathias Merian (F) killed, Obergefreiter Ewald Henke (Bf) wounded, 100%, non-combat flight

For what it is worth I hope this helps.

Horrido!

Leo
