Thanks for the compliment on the photo Mark. It was taken from about 30,000ft from an unarmed Spitfire MK XI of the 14th Squadron of the 7th Photo Group based at Mount Farm, Oxfordshire, UK sometime in 1944. The pilot was my father John S. Blyth and I guaranty he had no idea what was below (flak guns, numerous aircraft, etc.).
