14 July 44 : Cadillac operation / 2 B-17 on beach-head
Hi,

Historian Roger A. Freeman indicates in page 293 of his famous book : Mighty Eighth War Diary, that 2 B-17 "landed beah-head after mission" (Cadillac mission / 14 July 44 over central occupied France for French underground units).

Can we know which B-17 landed there on way out towards England ? units, reasons ...
