Thankyou to those that have responded thus far.
I think in my initial excitement on receiving the images that my friend took I had not looked too closely at the closeup images.
On closer inspection the paint job / brush strokes do appear to stop and start around the already damage base paitwork, so a clear sign of it being added at a later date.
Definitely a panel I will avoid purchasing.
