Definitely not No.156 MU.
No.156 MAINTENANCE UNIT.
No.2 (Northwest Africa) Aircraft Repair Unit formed 12.3.43 at Blida; 10.5.43 redesignated No.6 (North Africa) ARU; 22.5.43 became No.156 MU as (Twin-engined Aircraft Repair) (dett at Sidi Ahmed to 9.44) ('A' Dett to Setif 10.4.45); 1.1.44 to No.218 Group; Disbanded 31.12.45 and replaced by No.2 FLTU; Station handed over to French 10.1.46.
