I can add to that that Shingo claimed a Hurricane shot down on 5 Dec. '43. In total his 331st Ku claimed 4 Hurricanes destroyed and another 2 probables. Actual losses amounted to 3 Hurricanes shot down (with 2 pilots killed) plus one force landing with damage.
