Blenheim collision - 3rd Sept 1940

At 3pm On Tuesday 3rd. Sept. 1940 at 3pm two Blenheims both from 254 Squadron collided over Udny, (Serial Number N3608) crashed at Hill of Fechel, Udny killing all three crew members. The crew were who were Pilot Officer John Reginald James Laidlay (23 RAFVR), Sergeant Ronald John Wiffen and Aircraftman Class 1 Donald Campbell (30 RAF).

The second Blenheim (Serial Number N3529) came down at Cauldhame, Tarves killing the two crew members. Flight Sergeant Robert Charles Hanna (RAFVR 23) and Aircraftman Class 1 Joseph Edward Mangion (21) (RAFVR)

Does anybody have any additional info, who was to blame, or Court of Inquiry findings?
