Certainly, AA hit over Cudham at 1,500 ft could not have been the reason of the loss. So either the altitude is wrong, there was another claim by AA or the aircraft was downed by fighters, plenty of them around.
No idea, but the 5./KG 77 aircraft was lost in the afternoon, in sea.
