I do not own a copy of the book but have flipped through one. I believe that it focuses on the air war over the SW Pacific (New Guinea, N.E.I. and Northwestern Territories) and the Singapore / Malaya campaign. You can check the on-line content via Google books.

The Forgotten Air Force: The Royal Air Force in the War Against Japan 1941-1945 (Brasseys Publications 1995) is the book to get. The
Bloody Shambles series by Christopher Shores and Brian Cull with Yasuho Izawa is excellent, especially the first two volumes. They cover RAF operations in the Far East.
