I have received a video of the dive and several details are unmistakenly from a He219. Another feature that gives a rough estimate of the crash, is that this wreck has US type profile. That became the new fashion after September 1944...
I am afraid to contradict the staff at NASM: how do they think that a third person in a small compartment without windows or even instruments to calibrate anything should have used this 'Notsitz' for calibrating radar?
I do hope that the answers on a very specific question does not contain such speculations...
