Re: Looking for Nieuport-Delage NiD 52/62/72/622

Got the title earlier this week.

Although it is a nice new series and I am happy enough with my purchase, it still leaves me a bit wanting. With the c. 100p. you'd expect a little more content, especially on the technical side and a couple of good line drawings.

In the end you basically get a lot of profiles, photos and short service histories.

Of course it is personal, but I prefer the way series like Les Ailes de Gloire or Ali d'Italia mix technology and service, including profile art.

Nice because it covers a "non standard" subject, but ultimately a bit shallow in content.
Btw wrt the Ni-D29 there is iirc a Windsock special by Albatros.
