Yes, our minds move along the same track on this one. I thought the fact that other photos were titled 14 Squadron was persuasive and I didn't post the other photos, because as you say they are rather indifferent. I think though you'll find some other 14 Squadron aircraft photos from the same seller among earlier posts by myself which are better. The only reason I threw 23 Reserve Squadron out there is because it was well documentated at the usual source for this airframe.
