Calling all BF110 Experten - Need ID On Relic

This was posted on another thread and thanks to Peter the piece of aircraft piece recovered at the time by a Canadian soldier (RCASC) has been identified as being from:

"What you have there is from the Messerschmitt Bf110C-6 (S9+TH) of 1./ErpGr210 that crashed at Broadbridge Farm, Smallfield, Horley at 7.10 p.m. on August 15, 1940. Lt Erich BEUDEL and Obergefr Otto Jordan both killed. Shot down by F/Lt S. D. P. Connors and Sgt T. Y. Wallace of No. 111 Squadron following an attack on Croydon airfield. See Blitz Then & Now Vol.1 p198 and Zerstorer p123 for details."

The piece in my posession has scratched into it as being "part of a radio cover", not from a Junkers of course but as Peter says from a Bf110C-6. Does anyone with an intimate knowledge of this aircraft have any theories of where this radio was on a Bf110C-6 or have pictures showing the full sized cover (my piece is only a cut down section of it) ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Konrad
