Regarding your comment that flight sim game models might be used to illustrate books ... Claes Sundin, who created the profiles for "Luftwaffe Fighter Aircraft in Profile" and "More Luftwaffe Fighter Aircraft in Profile" (published by Schiffer), has created aircraft skins that can be downloaded at
