The Harold Thiele book on Luftwaffe torpedo operations gives the following as KG 77 losses on 11/12-4-44 :- four from I/KG77 801410, 801441, 822631, 801602 and three from III/KG77 822678 3Z+IK, 822906 3Z+NL, 801415 3Z+ML with crews missing plus a futher aircraft 822679 3Z+ML crash landing at Salon. From a previous posting I noted 801410 as crew of Hpt Wittig of 7/KG77 and from NVMs (hard to read) I have 822678 3Z+IK from I/KG77 crew of Hpt Johann Hollinger, 822906 3Z+NL crew of Oblt Schulz of 3/KG77, 801415 3Z+ML crew of Uffz Juneleit of 3/KG77 plus 822679 3Z+EH crash landing at Salon one man injured.
From all this would it be correct that the missing III/KG77 aircraft were 801441, 822631 and 801602 and if so are crew details available please,
