31 March 1945

Hi everyone.
31 March 1945, it is known that JG 7 had their best day on this date.
The 8th AF lost 2 B-24s to jets, the RAF lost 3 Halifaxes and 5 Lancasters (and 39 more repoted having been attacked by jets) to jets. Still going through 15th AFs losses for the day, but they only went as far as Linz, in Austria, so probably not intercepted by jets.
My question is, Theo Weissenberger claimed a B-17 at around 16h00. All the above missions were flown in the morning. The hour may be wrong, the type of aircraft may have been a misidentification or I may be missing something.
Does anyone have any extra data on this?
Thank you.
Cheers
