Hello Fredo,

after converting to Bf 109 F-4 at Mannheim-Sandhofen in early October 1941 the Stab/JG 53 (Kommodore Maj von Maltzahn) transferred to Katwijk. In mid December the Stab/JG 53 was ordered to Sicily.
