Very nice photo!!

First time I see this type of registration beside the more famous I-16 carrying AW+10.
It is interesting to speculate what the others could have been.
It is believed five VEF I-17 were flown to Germany. Maybe they became AW+05 to AW+09? But if so what was AW+01 to AW-04?
