Anybody got any more specific info on this plane?
Crashed Early Sept 1941, 0600am near Auchintoul Farm, Aberchirder, Aberdeenshire
. Handley -Page Hampeden on a minelaying mission from RAF Kinloss (possibly Lossiemouth with 44-50 Squadrom) to Oslo Fjord, although aircraft possibly based at Scampton with no 5 Bomber Group
Navigator - Hugh Leslie Sanderson - survived and revisited area in 1974
