Many thanks for your information. It is gratefully accepted! According to the information presented on this discussion regarding his claim on 7 April 1940 it appears that his opponent did not actually bail out but rather brought his damaged aircraft back to base. It would also seem that this was Hurricane I (
P2542) "TP-X" which was eventually lost on 14 September 1940.
