Re: November 2 1928/1929 ? Lieut Elton Council Parker USN Incident
It was indeed A7156, on 2 November 1928, with Lt.(jg) Parker as pilot. While on a gunnery flight the engine stopped suddenly and began shedding parts. In reaction to the stoppage the aircraft rolled inverted, allowing the pilot to drop out.
