Question on location of base for I./ZG2 on 26.5.40, Neufchâteau airfield.
Hello,
On 26.5.40 the I./ZG2 Gr.Kdr., Hptm. Gentzen, was killed in a crash at Neufchâteau airfield, which I presume was the temporary unit base at the time.
In looking this up, I find that there are one town by this name in France, and two in Belgium. Which one was the I./ZG2 base at the time?
