Thanks udf_00. How did you get the info from the book so quickly??
I now checked Aces High II and see Chisholm also flew BR525 in Nth Africa on 30/8/42 and 1/9/42. CieldeGloire states sources as Shores and Williams, but has the a/c on those dates coded as QJoS and on 27/10/42 as QJoT, but they were supposedly the same a/c. But then on 4/1/43 they have him flying QJoT again, but Aces High II have the serial as ER345. More errors? Changed codes twice? Anyway, not important here as I'm really interested in BR526.
Thanks for the info on BR526. It now seems that is the correct code for Goldsmith's a/c in 1943, and adf-serials is wrong.
