Question Luftwaffe Loses June 24th/25th 1943

Hi Guys,

I’m looking for some info on Luftwaffe Loses on the night of June 24th and June 25th 1943 in the Wuppertal area. A Halifax bomber JD214 was one of three No.419 Sqdn Halifaxes lost on an operation in this area. Airborne 2307 24 Jun 43 from Middleton St.George. Badly shot about by FW190s and, subsequently, force-landed at Wageningen (Gelderland), Holland. During the air battle the upper mid gunner claimed to have shot down two FW190’s? It would seem that the German planes lost where the ones that shot the Halifax down. Were there any German planes lost in this area on this particular evening that could be the ones that shot down the Halifax??? Any photos, names, etc... of the German Pilots??
Other info about the incident …. Prior to the forced landing, two messages were monitored; the first at 0137 when the aircraft was still in the target area and the second ten minutes before the crash-landing. Sgt G.V.Neale RCAF PoW Sgt R.A.Cleaver PoW Sgt R.S.McLachlan RCAF PoW Sgt W.N.Jaffray RCAF PoW Sgt P.J.Griffiths PoW Sgt D.E.Kenwell RCAF PoW Sgt W.P.McLeod RCAF PoW were the Halifax crew.
